10th Annual warrior outreach retreat concludes with nine new songs

Operation Song® conducted its 10th Annual Warrior Outreach Retreat April 21 - 22, 2023 in Fortson, GA, with nine participants and nine songwriters.

Described by many as the best retreat ever, the event was held at the Warrior Outreach Ranch. While writing sessions were conducted at the local Antioch church down the road, the performance took place at the ranch. There was an estimated 75 people in attendance. In addition, the local FOX TV station, WTVM, conducted several interviews and held a live stream of the performance.

Warrior Outreach Ranch is located at 6350 GA Hwy 219 in Fortson, GA. 

Participants included Ronnie Garzee (Retired First Responder), John Torres, Nicole Taylor, Judy Kempf, Chris Meadows, Randy Robinson, Tom Siefken, Bethany Hill and Todd Bruce. Songwriters in attendance for the event included Lynn Langham, Doug Gill, Scott Singer (Local GA writer), Keesy Timmer (new writer), Wil Nance, Pete Sallis, Jason Sever, Laurel Taylor and Dennis Polatiie. The songs produced during this retreat were:

• I’m Just Me (Judy/Keesy)

• The Man I Am Today (Chris/Wil)
