Corporate Retreat with Caterpillar Financial

Operation Song® conducted a corporate retreat on August 4 with Caterpillar Financial and its Military Support Network at its Nashville office on West End Ave. Five Veteran employees wrote at the retreat, and one wrote virtually. The Military Support Network stated that we exceeded their expectations and were amazed at the speed of writing and quality of songs.

We had the honor of pairing participants Maggie Early, Eric Miligan, Doug Oyston, Matt Spiker and Hunter Lyle with songwriters Mark Irwin, Rob Crosby, Brian White, Steve Williams and Doug Gill. During the retreat, the pairings were able to create some heartwarming and memory evoking songs such as “Goodbye For Now” (Maggie & Mark), “It’s Part of Me” (Eric & Rob), “The Sacrifice” (Doug & Brian), “A Perfectly Good Plane” (Matt & Steve) and “I Hope That for You” (Hunter & Doug).

We’re excited to hear the final songs and present them to the organization in November, so stay tuned!
