Operation Song® is proud to announce a new partnership with ACM Lifting Lives. This partnership came about after ACM Lifting Lives’ Executive Director, Lyndsay Cruz, attended Operation Song’s® 2022 Nashville fundraiser held at Richland Country Club.

ACM Lifting Lives had provided grant support in the past, but Cruz spoke with Executive Director of Operation Song®, Mike Byer, after the show, and expressed how ACM Lifting Lives loved Operation Song’s® mission and would like to do more. Further conversations with Cruz led to their sponsorship of the Virtual Songwriting Program, which allows us to write online with veterans across the country, and the providing of a grant. The support from ACM Lifting Lives has allowed us to expand this program, and as a result, we are on track to write 75 songs with veterans and their families in 2023 and plan on writing more than 100 in 2024. Operation Song's® Virtual Writing Program offers Veterans from all across the country the opportunity to share their stories by writing with a Nashville songwriter.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. They harness the strength of the Country Music community to provide aid in times of need, with a focus on health-related initiatives.
