2nd Annual Showcase … A Success!
What a night! Operation Song® held its 2nd Annual Showcase at the beautiful Fisher Center for Performing Arts. The objective for the evening was to share veterans stories, as well as the success we’ve achieved in 2023. In attendance were more than 375 guests and partners from across the country including Warriors Heart, North Country Troopers Assisting Troops, Operation Healing Heroes Foundation, Warrior Outreach Ranch, Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation, Sweat for Vets, and many others. Also in attendance were, Laura Osnes (Hallmark & Broadway Actress), Judith Hoag (Actress), Pete Parada (Drummer for the Offspring), and Steven Cade.
Carrie Manolakos kicked the night off with her impeccable voice singing the National Anthem. The music flowed smoothly after that and also included a comedy show by Aaron Weber. The feedback on performances by Jamie Floyd, Pete Sallis, Tom McElvain, Jimmy Thow, Chuck Jones, George Meldrum, Olivia Nelson, David Lee, Aaron Weber, and Scotty Hasting, have been nothing but positive and left guests wanting more.
We were able to hear from our participants such as Del Rodriguez, Jack Clark, George Meldrum, Chris Cathers and Ron Griffin. Their stories captivated the audience and the songs that followed them gave everyone in attendance a heartwarming and emotional night of support and love.
