Operation Song Announces First-Ever Songwriters of Nashville Veteran’s Day Tribute in Wisconsin
Event brings Nashville music to Green Bay honoring veterans through live performances by acclaimed songwriters.
GREEN BAY, Wis. and NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oct. 31, 2022 – Operation Song, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that pairs accomplished Nashville songwriters with the military community to help them tell their stories through song, announces a first-ever special event on Veteran’s Day in Green Bay, Wis. The “Songwriters of Nashville Veteran’s Day Tribute” will take place on Nov. 11, 2022 at Epic Event Center in Green Bay, featuring award-winning Nashville songwriters and local veterans.
“Operation Song is thrilled to bring the sounds of Nashville to the Midwest for the very first time, offering a uniquely entertaining way for the community to commemorate Veteran’s Day, with live acoustic music from acclaimed songwriters in honor of our veterans,” said Bob Leonard, Operation Song’s Board President, U.S. Navy Desert Storm Veteran, and Wisconsin native. “The Songwriters of Nashville Veteran’s Day Tribute will be an unforgettable event for veterans, the community, and any music-lover – we promise you won’t want to miss it.”
The Songwriters of Nashville Veteran’s Day Tribute features performances by Grammy-winning songwriter Frank Myers, Grammy-nominated songwriter Jamie Floyd, and hit singer-songwriter Jason Sever. The songwriters will share their biggest hits and the stories behind them, plus songs written with local, Green Bay and Wisconsin veterans. Operation Song empowers veterans to share their stories through the power of songwriting and has helped more than 1,200 veterans since 2012. The show also includes a live auction with proceeds going directly to Operation Song programming for veterans and their families.

About Operation Song
More than 1,200 songs have been produced since Nashville-based Operation Song began in 2012. Participants range from veterans of WWII to those currently serving in the military.
The organization was founded by Grammy and Dove Award-nominated songwriter Bob Regan. He's penned over 200 songs for critically acclaimed artists such as Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Greenwood, Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Jr., Randy Travis, Billy Ray Cyrus and more. Regan has scored 11 ASCAP Most Performed Song awards and continues to support the charity's focus to help raise awareness to the nation.
